Great staff and yummy food! If you are craving K-BBQ, this is definitely one of the places to go to in Chinatown. The staff are very attentive and they cook the food for you, not like other places when you are busy cooking your own food.

Looking for street food? Enter the door to the left. Korean BBQ for dine-in? Head upstairs via the door to the right. We had a short wait on a late Saturday afternoon for our party of two. We chose the Beef combo with marinated short ribs and ribeye steak, and the non-spicy soup option. Unlike other Korean BBQ spots I've tried, here, they cook the meat for you with comfortable breaks in between. The combo comes with so many "sides"/accompaniments to try. First time, no problem! Simply ask for guidance. Our waiter demonstrated how he typically builds his lettuce wrap. He cut the lettuce with scissors, grabbed some ribeye he'd just prepared for us, dipped it in a delicious sauce, followed by some seasoned salad and told me to eat it in one bite. It was so good! You get to have fun here with the different combinations! There's are two, gendered-bathrooms so count on there always being a short wait for the bathroom.

The ability to protein load at a Korean bbq restaurant is ideal. Between the beef combo and the seafood tofu soup, I got 70g of protein here. The marinated beef is my favorite, but my kid insists on getting a variety. We had 4 in our party and the large combo ($84.99) was all eaten. Every single piece of meat and all of the banchan. They offer a bean paste soup or a kimchi and tofu soup for free with the combo meals. Even though they offer soup for free, I always order the spicy seafood tofu soup for $9.99. -Especially during the colder months. Service is always great here. If you come here during the afternoon, there's virtually no wait at all. Dinner waits can be 30+ minutes

Got the Daebak combo that comes with 2 beef and 1 pork meat option and is in the middle price between either of the other combos. Neat spot to come on a date, be prepared to come hungry. Something we were surprised about is that they cook the meat here for you. It is nice that they do that but also makes you feel rushed to eat the food while its still hot and doesn't get burned. Service is still nice and fast though if you want a refill on anything but water it costs extra. Overall the food is good and its a nice experience.

I recently dined at Daebak Korean BBQ, and it truly lived up to expectations. One of the highlights was the diverse and fresh range of banchan provided to the table. They thoughtfully set out pre-selected sauces that complement the main dishes perfectly. We opted for both the pork and beef combos, which, for our group of six, turned out to be an ample amount of food. Additionally, the option to continuously order more banchan and cheesy corn is available. We were left with surplus meat and soup by the end, suggesting it's wise to share dishes, especially since ordering extensively can rack up the bill. The service was good; notably, they handle the cooking of the meat for you at the table. My seat was further from the grill but the attentive server ensured I received cooked portions on my plate. The ambiance was inviting with a great playlist of songs and accompanying music videos showcased on the TV.

I am so late writing my review after my vacation in the area so I forgot exactly what we ordered. However it is your typical Korean bbq spread of multiple sides, pork belly and a couple other meats. It can be pricey and very filling ($70+ for big meal here) we had so much just for two so come hungry, you get what you pay for as it was worth it! I guess the only inconvenience was there tend to be a wait for the bathroom as only one stall and the staff weren't very friendly otherwise loved it, convenient in Chinatown.
